The Taylor Precision Trajectory

The Taylor Precision Trajectory is the most successful trajectory in bowls today, more major competitions in bowls in recent years worldwide were won using the Taylor Trajectory than with any other bowl.

The Taylor Trajectory

Our trajectory is very different to other makes, we have opted for the very successful even arc to the target, no cut, no hook, simply a predictable even curve. No other bowl travels quite like a Taylor Bowl

The advantages of the unique Taylor Trajectory are easy to see on the green:

  • Predictability of Finish
  • Extremely accurate up shot/onshot played with minimum weight
  • Superb handling and proven better characteristics in the wind over virtually every other make of bowl
  • Taylor Bowls "draw the shot more often than not" that is a fact

The importance of the Trajectory

An example of the importance of the trajectory is when a shorter end is played. Any bowl with a hook or cut on a green of 14 seconds or more would be hard pressed to compete with the even Taylor arc, being continually narrow makes winning difficult as does slicing the jack with early cutting bowls. On a long end the cut is exaggerated with a bowl positioned well out of the head.

The even Taylor Trajectory gives EVERY PLAYER the chance to achieve and play a more competitive game.

Again the proof is available, Taylor quite simply win virtually every major competition while the two worlds best players use them as does the No.1 in Australia and Richard Girvan the NZ choice for the Commonwealth Games, and of course so does Kelvin Kerkow the highest ranked Australasian bowler in the world.

Rest assured from Taylor – you will always receive a perfect set of bowls – as regards weight and bias. You will receive nothing different to the set that Kerkow or Globits or Girvan uses or indeed any one of our champions use.

Watch the Trajectory for yourself

Bear in mind – mat stance, delivery and pace of the green all affect the trajectory of the bowl and the only way to see a bowl's trajectory is to have a good player deliver the four bowls to you.

You stand at the jack and watch the trajectory. You will then know why the world's best players use Taylor Bowls.

THE UNBEATABLE BIAS......from Taylor Bowls...the bowls that draw the shot more often than not.

At the recent Jack High Bowls Tournament

At the recent Jack High Bowls Tournament in Perth attended by the worlds best bowlers from the UK,South Africa and Australia ten of the twelve players used Taylor bowls. In use were Vectors, Pinnacles, Redlines and the XTL. Taylor bowls won every event.
