Sizing is a very personal choice,Taylor Professionals agree on one thing, if you can hold the bowl comfortably then you have the correct size.
The most popular sizes for men are 3,4 and 5 and all of these sizes perform equally well. A size 5 in a Vector would be an advantage in windy and heavy conditions with no disadvantage on quicker greens. Kelvin Kerkow uses size 5 on many occasions.
We have tested all sizes of bowls against each other and find really no difference in shots one can play. Obviously the smaller the bowl the more weight it will require to get to the head, but nothing that can be called significant.
If one can avoid a 00 and use a 0 that would be an advantage.We find 00 very difficult to control. The Vector in the smaller sizes 0,and 1 is an unbeatable bowl because of its superb characteristics in the wind. |
